Compass started its operation in 1997 as a small transportation company. With only a few trucks and a very simple dispatch operation, the company started its climb toward success.

We began with only four trucks, and in three years grew to a fleet of 250 trucks. We have worked with some of the biggest names in the Transportation industry and still have a strong relationship with several to this day.

Behind strong leadership, we were proud to have accomplished so much in such short time. We were expanding our existing departments and making improvements to every facet of our company. That is how Compass, as a company, developed into a leader of the Chicago area Transportation Industry. With a hunger to do things better than our competition, and improve our industry. We are pioneers in our market in the use of technological improvements for the trucking industry.

Several people have worked for Compass, and have learned everything they know about transportation here. Many of them now, have their own companies. Including some of the most successful privately held, trucking companies in the Chicago area. Compass has been a leader in all areas of the trucking industry. We are extremely diverse, and are true experts in our field. We were leaders in local and over the road transportation, tractor repair, tractor sales, and equipment finance.

Since our beginning, we have always put forth the extra hard work and dedication to make the "Compass" name the leader in our industry. As the economy has changed, so has our vision. Now we are partners with the same companies we helped get started, and others that are new to our name. Our trucking company has evolved into a "one stop shop" for all transportation needs.
